Hello Land Rover people.  Mine's a 1964 Series 11A 109,  12 seater. Done 145,000 and still gives 18.9 mpg on the flat at 52mph. Original everything except alternator instead of dynamo. On its 4th radiator, second clutch, 3rd clutch master cyl. The diff has been glued- yes glued. Not resprayed yet but looking tatty, just like me. Chassis well welded in a few parts.

It cost, new, £950 in March '64 + £50 for the free -wheeling hubs. I helped collect it from the dealer in Knutsford, Cheshire.

Since then, its made it past Athens going East & South, and past Trondheim, Norway, going North. Back in 1967 a Mercedes hit it and was written off. The LR needed a new rear wing. I was there too. Ha!

Its been to Stonor Park but not Billing with me yet.
Hope you all enjoy your British made truck as much As I do my 44 year old
